Though most love the rush of Adrenalin that lust brings, this is the animal within us and not the spiritual side of us, though it is connected within us it is, it is the quick fix but also is the art of survival, the animal instinct in us is something that all of us seem to be drawn to, but what about some of us that want mostly the spiritual side.

Lately I have been told by friends and family to just go out and get laid, though I have two major issues with this, one is it has not fixed anything in the past it only makes me angry and depressed, two it is not what I want, so I am refusing to take advise of this kind and going with my spiritual side and leaving the animal at home.

The spiritual side of Love is companionship and sharing the love, both putting in the effort and not just one doing all the work for little or no reward, what I want and I am a male is to find someone to share my life with and not just the sexual organs with.

Though I have found most people live by there animal instinct to have sex and procreate, also for enjoyment, I am all for that but what has happened to the companionship the spiritual side of the relationship unit, I see it in families sometimes but I very rarely see it in couples with out kids.

I feel as though I am backwards in this thinking, but I feel people do not see this way, but in my heart and mind I am right, I know in christian teaching you need to wait till marriage but personally I do not believe marriage to be something someone else gives, it is up each individual who seeks.

So why am I not on the animal side what makes me tick, why do I weigh this as companionship first sex after, it does make it hard in a world where the quick fix is what everyone wants, I have yet to meet someone like me and if I do I will report back!

Well to begin with it is a belief system, your own that is, allowing yourself to freely express and experience your soul. Express your self inwardly and outwardly, to be helpful to your loved ones and to help out a stranger that will accept help. To be a part of a community. Though there are times when you still need to stand up for yourself and become the boss of you.

Being spiritual person is being about being you and not allowing others to rule you, you must remember you are your own God and definitely not someone else’s, as much as other people like having that egotistic control over other living beings, we develop a defense against this control which gives us our personalities, maybe you could spot in a person how there parents treated them.

I heard someone say that a person was not spiritual once, it made me angry, everyone is spiritual, I bit my tongue and moved on, I found it offensive that someone could say that someone is not spiritual, we are all born of whatever the deep making’s of us when we fully understand it, we come from within the universe it’s self.

So what does it mean to being a spiritual, being you is the most accurate or what the spiritual community call the I AM!
